During a recent General Committee meeting, the following was agreed by all:

All Racing for PSBSC Trophies pre and during the Regatta fortnight will not take place this year 2020, due to the ongoing pandemic and guidelines regarding coronavirus.  The committee will review the situation mid July to assess if any future sailing can take place in 2020.

What this means is the PSBSC will not be holding any of the scheduled races or training during the annual regatta fortnight or any events prior to it for 2020.

This decision was not taken lightly as we'd all love to get back out on the water, however I'm sure you will all understand why we had to make this decision and we have tried to give you as much notice as possible.

We shall be following the government updates and RYA recommendations closely for any future changes, but unfortunately the above will remain true.

We would also welcome your continued support as we continue to have financial outgoings even without any races or training being carried out.  Therefore, if you were in a position to do so, we would welcome you to join the club online via the website or donate what you can to the Club to ensure we can continue for future events.

If you were lucky enough to win a Trophy from 2019, please keep it safe until 2021.
